Video - real life captured and converted into data on a meduim. In today's digital era, all kinds of video is accesible through the internet, and there are many ways to deliver this information. However, on BioCookies video can only be obtained using these two simple methods.
- Method 1: Standard File Downloading
This method is rarely used on BioCookies, mainly because we don't even host any of the videos in the Videos section. Another reason is simply because you have to download the entire file before you can watch the movie. All videos in the Files section, however, are delivered in this manner. You may also upload files and video to our servers so the data can be dowloaded by others for free. However, we strictly prohibit the upoloading of copyrighted or obscene material.
- Method 2: Streaming
This method is the most popular method used on biocookies and the whole internet. It lets you watch the video as it is downloaded to your computer. Third-Party sites like Youtube, Video.Google, Myspace, and dailymotion provide everyone on the web, including us, with embed code linking to flash-powerd players. These players automatically download data from the third-party sites and display the media in your browser. In this way, we can find and deliver the best videos on the net without putting any load on our servers.
