Our policy regarding your privacy and how we handle any information you send to us.
- E-mail addresses
Spam is an abomination. We will never send any type of spam or give away your e-mail address to third parties who would send spam. In fact, chances are we won't send you anything whatsoever. Only messages that require special attention may be sent if we need you to know of something urgent. You will not be sent mail of news, updates, or forum replies (as of now).
- Names
You have the option to not provide your name and use an alias to identify your authored material. If you do provide your name be advised that it will appear in search engines (i.e. google) at some point in time.
- I.P. addresses
We keep a record of them just in case we need to block abusive people/machines.
- Cookies
Oh no! BioCookies actually leaves cookies in your browser! When you visit the site we send one or more cookies – a small file containing a string of characters – to your computer or other device. We use them to store login information and some preference data which uses only a few kilobytes of space.
- Liability
What you put up is up to you and out of our control. If you post personal material do so at your own risk.
